LONDON: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar has left London for Istanbul following the conclusion of his official visit to the United Kingdom, where he engaged in several high-level meetings.
According to Radio Pakistan, during his visit, Mr. Dar held discussions with key figures, including British Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband, Minister of State for Pakistan Stephen Doughty, National Security Adviser Jonathan Powell, Secretary-General of the International Maritime Organization Arsenio Dominguez, and Commonwealth Secretary-General Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey. Additionally, he met with British parliamentarians of Pakistani origin and engaged with the Pakistani community residing in the UK.
Mr. Dar’s itinerary in Istanbul includes official engagements, though specific details of the agenda have not been disclosed.
