Tehran: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and a high-ranking Pakistani delegation for their presence at the state funeral of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran’s Supreme Leader. The acknowledgment underscores the enduring relationship between the two neighboring countries.
According to Radio Pakistan, President Pezeshkian conveyed his appreciation through a post on X, highlighting the sincere sympathy shown by the Government and people of Pakistan. He emphasized the historical solidarity and brotherhood shared by Pakistan and Iran, expressing hope for the further expansion and deepening of relations between the two nations.
