Iranian Ambassador Commends Pakistan for Role in Islamabad Talks

Islamabad: The Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan, Reza Amiri Moghadam, has expressed his appreciation for Pakistan’s role in facilitating the Islamabad Talks. The ambassador specifically acknowledged the efforts of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir in initiating the discussions aimed at fostering diplomatic engagement.

According to Radio Pakistan, Moghadam conveyed his gratitude in a statement on his X handle, emphasizing that the Islamabad Talks represent an ongoing diplomatic process rather than a singular event. He highlighted that the discussions have established a foundation for a sustainable framework that serves the interests of all involved parties.

The ambassador also praised the concerted efforts of various sectors in Pakistan, including the government, military, police, and security forces, for their role in orchestrating and managing the talks.
