Iran, US Negotiating Teams to Participate in Islamabad Peace Talks


Islamabad: President Donald Trump is sending a negotiating team led by Vice President JD Vance to Islamabad for peace talks with Iran. The talks aim to address longstanding tensions between the two nations.



According to Radio Pakistan, the U.S. team will also include Trump’s adviser Steve Witkoff and his son-in-law Jared Kushner. Iran’s delegation will be led by Parliament Speaker Baqer Qalibaf and will include Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi. The discussions are expected to focus on finding a diplomatic resolution to ongoing conflicts and improving bilateral relations.
