Kabul: International and Afghan media outlets have refuted the Afghan Taliban’s claim of 400 fatalities in an alleged hospital attack in Kabul, exposing what has been characterized as misleading propaganda by the Taliban regime against Pakistan.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Taliban’s assertions have been debunked by multiple media reports, which have found no evidence of mass casualties or destruction at the site purportedly targeted by Pakistani forces. Afghan media, including Zawia News and Afghan Times, have not confirmed any significant loss of life at the reported location.

The Taliban had stated that the attack targeted a rehabilitation center in Kabul, but these claims remain unsubstantiated. The United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan has also not verified the deaths claimed by the Taliban. Eyewitnesses and a reporter from Tolo News corroborated that only 15 injured individuals are receiving treatment at Kabul Central Hospital.

Global experts have noted that the discrepancy between the Taliban’s claims and the actual situation on the ground indicates a disinformation campaign. They emphasized that the widely circulated claim of 400 deaths appears unfounded when scrutinized against credible sources.
