Interior Minister Praises JUI-F Leadership for Commitment to Democratic Principles


Islamabad: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the residence of Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), to congratulate him and Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri on their recent unopposed re-elections as party head and secretary-general, respectively.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during his visit today (Tuesday), Naqvi presented bouquets and extended his best wishes, acknowledging the significant contributions of Maulana Fazlur Rehman to parliamentary supremacy and democratic values in Pakistan. He praised Rehman’s prudent and visionary political leadership, which he noted has consistently upheld principle-based politics within JUI-F.



The Interior Minister lauded Maulana Fazlur Rehman for his invaluable service to both his party and the country, emphasizing the role that Rehman has played in promoting a political landscape grounded in firm principles and committed to the welfare of Pakistan.
