Makkah: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited Pakistani Hajj camps in Mina to review the facilities available to pilgrims during their stay.

According to Radio Pakistan Correspondent Asad Ullah Khan from Mina in Makkah, the minister interacted with several pilgrims, particularly focusing on elderly individuals, to assess their well-being. Naqvi personally met with a 100-year-old pilgrim, inquiring about his health and commending his resilience.

During the visit, the minister examined the accommodation and food arrangements at the camps and sought feedback from the pilgrims on the services being provided. The pilgrims acknowledged the good arrangements, noting that any issues encountered were promptly addressed with the staff’s cooperation.

Naqvi praised the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, under the leadership of Federal Minister Sardar Muhammad Yousaf, for effectively resolving the pilgrims’ issues. He emphasized the importance of addressing every pilgrim’s concerns and assured that staff members were available to assist them.

Additionally, Naqvi lauded the Saudi government’s efforts, expressing gratitude to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and the Saudi Ministry of Hajj for facilitating a smooth immigration process for Pakistani pilgrims.
