Bishkek: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi urged a collaborative approach to address security challenges in the region, as he highlighted issues such as terrorism, organized crime, drug trafficking, and cybercrime during a special meeting of the Ministers of Interior and Public Security of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
According to Radio Pakistan, Naqvi emphasized the need for the SCO to unite for a peaceful and secure region. He advocated for enhanced intelligence sharing, joint threat assessments, and bolstered efforts to counteract online extremism. Naqvi also reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to the Shanghai Spirit, which promotes mutual trust, equality, partnership, and respect for sovereignty among member states.
