Lahore: The 10th CNS Amateur Net Shield Golf Tournament 2024 concluded with Innam ul Haq Malik of Rawalpindi Golf Club clinching the title at the Defence Raya Golf and Country Club. The closing ceremony and prize distribution, held on October 6, saw Vice Admiral Ovais Ahmed Bilgrami, Vice Chief of the Naval Staff, in attendance as the chief guest.
According to Pakistan Navy, the event, spanning from October 4 to 6, featured over 200 golfers from across the country competing in various categories including Men, Ladies, and Senior Amateur. Vice Admiral Bilgrami, upon his arrival, was received by Commander Central Punjab Rear Admiral Azhar Mahmood.
During the ceremony, the Vice Chief of Naval Staff commended the winners for their achievements and praised the high level of competition displayed throughout the tournament. He also acknowledged the efforts of the event organizers, the continuous support from sponsors, and the role of the media in promoting the event.
The ceremony highlighted the closing of a successful three-day event, celebrating the spirit of golf and sportsmanship among participants from diverse regions of Pakistan. The chief guest distributed prizes among the winners across all categories in the presence of sponsors and fellow golfers.
