Information Minister Attaullah Tarar Highlights Positive Economic Indicators and Government’s Foreign Policy Successes

Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar announced that all key economic indicators are showing positive trends, with improvements in foreign exchange reserves, a stable currency, and a decrease in inflation. He made these remarks during a news conference in Islamabad, emphasizing the government’s focus on stabilizing the economy.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Tarar attributed these gains to the economic policies of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, which have garnered international recognition and praise. He warned that attempts by certain political parties to derail the economic progress would not be tolerated, stressing that any disruptions to law and order will face legal consequences.

The minister also described the Prime Minister’s recent visit to the United States as highly successful, noting that Shehbaz Sharif’s address at the United Nations General Assembly received significant attention, particularly for advocating the causes of Kashmir and Palestine. He added that the Pakistani delegation led a walk-out during the Israeli Prime Minister’s speech, leaving the hall nearly empty.

Tarar further emphasized Pakistan’s growing role on the international stage, pointing to the upcoming hosting of the SCO Heads of Government meeting in Islamabad, which he described as a milestone for Pakistan’s diplomatic image.
