Info Minister Accuses PTI of Destabilizing Agenda

Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar, has accused the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party of pursuing an agenda detrimental to Pakistan’s stability, asserting that their alleged designs will not succeed.

According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Tarar delivered a televised message criticizing PTI for allegedly opposing Pakistan’s economic progress and perpetuating discord. He claimed that PTI struggles to accept the nation’s economic improvements, charging the party with inciting hatred and division.

Tarar highlighted the recent visit of Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir to the United Kingdom, where he received a guard of honor at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. The Minister suggested that PTI was displeased with the warm reception given to the Army Chief.

The Information Minister further stated that overseas Pakistanis have rebuffed PTI’s negative propaganda by boosting their remittances by 32 percent, demonstrating their support for the state, the armed forces, and the economy.

Tarar accused PTI of past violent actions, referencing attacks on Jinnah House and the defacement of martyrs’ memorials. He claimed there is substantial video evidence linking PTI leaders to these events.

He also alleged that PTI’s founder had previously supported terrorists, facilitating their return to Pakistan. Tarar warned of legal action against those conducting negative social media campaigns against the armed forces and the country’s economy.
