Indian Police Arrest 30 in SIM Card Vendor Raids in Kashmir

Srinagar: Indian Police have arrested 30 people associated with the SIM card business during extensive raids in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to a statement by Kashmir Media Service, police confirmed the arrest of more than 30 individuals during the raids, accusing them of involvement in unlawful activities.

The raids targeted SIM card vendors across several districts, including Srinagar, Ganderbal, Islamabad, Budgam, Pulwama, Shopian, Bandipora, Samba, and Kishtwar. The vendors were accused of not complying with regulations introduced by the Modi administration following the revocation of Article 370 in the region.

Analysts suggest the raids could be part of a larger strategy aimed at economically weakening the Kashmiri community.
