Islamabad: Indian media has acknowledged the significance of a new defence agreement between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Türkiye, recognizing potential benefits for Pakistan’s military capabilities. The pact is poised to enhance defence integration, joint military exercises, and technology transfers among the three nations.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Indian media outlet India Today has described the agreement as a crucial development for Pakistan. The outlet emphasized that the collaboration could bolster Pakistan’s defence capabilities through intelligence sharing and joint defence production. Furthermore, the agreement is expected to facilitate Pakistan’s access to Türkiye’s advanced drone technology and electronic warfare capabilities.

Defence experts have noted that the combination of Türkiye’s technological advancements, Saudi Arabia’s resources, and Pakistan’s operational capabilities could form a robust defence alliance. The growing cooperation among these countries poses a strategic challenge for India, as acknowledged by Indian media, which underscores the strategic importance of this defence pact.
