Jammu, 15 Oct 2023: An Indian army soldier sustained injuries today in a landmine explosion close to the Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri district of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
As reported by the Kashmir Media Service, the police relayed that Rifleman Gurucharan Singh was conducting a patrol when he inadvertently stepped on the landmine in the forward Kalsian village in Nowshera. Following the incident, Singh received immediate attention at a nearby military hospital. To provide specialized care, he was then airlifted to the Command Hospital in Udhampur.
