IIOJK Jamaat-e-Islami Disavows BJP-Backed Political Entities

Islamabad: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter Convener, Ghulam Muhammad Safi, has issued a strong statement distancing Jamaat-e-Islami in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) from the Bharatiya Janata Party-backed panel and the newly launched Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Front (JKDF).

According to a statement by Kashmir Media Service, Ghulam Muhammad Safi emphasized that Jamaat-e-Islami has categorically disowned the BJP-backed panel and reasserted its dedication to its foundational principles. Safi made it clear that Jamaat-e-Islami has no role in the activities or political goals of the panel and its affiliated party.

He called on the people of IIOJK to stay alert against forces seeking to divide them and warned against tactics aimed at misleading the Kashmiri resistance movement. He described these political moves as part of a broader strategy by India to create confusion and undermine the struggle for self-determination.

Safi reiterated the importance of unity among Kashmiris and underscored the necessity for resilience in their pursuit of freedom from Indian control.
