Karachi, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh, Riffat Mukhtar Raja, made a visit to Aga Khan Hospital Karachi on Tuesday to check on the condition of Constable Mir Dost Jakhrani, who was injured in a recent police encounter. During his visit, the IGP spent time with the constable’s nephew and family, offering his consolation and support.
According to the Director Press, IGP Raja closely inquired about Constable Jakhrani’s health from the medical team at Aga Khan Hospital. He emphasized the importance of providing the best possible medical facilities and care, instructing the doctors to spare no effort in the constable’s treatment. This visit and the subsequent instructions underscore the IGP’s commitment to the welfare of his officers, particularly those injured in the line of duty.
Constable Jakhrani was initially treated at a hospital in Rahimyar Khan following the encounter in Kashmore on November 18. On the special instructions of IGP Sindh, he was later transferred to Aga Khan Hospital in Karachi for advanced medical care.
