Islamabad: Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi has chaired a high-level meeting to scrutinize the ongoing recruitment process within the Islamabad Police. The meeting, which highlighted the importance of maintaining a transparent and fair selection process, was attended by several key police officials through a virtual platform.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the meeting included participation from DG Safe City/DIG Traffic, DIG Headquarters, DIG Islamabad, DIG Security, and other senior police officers. Officials from the National Police Foundation were also present. Discussions centered around the arrangements at recruitment test centers across various cities, the facilities provided to candidates, the different stages of testing, and the recruitment mechanism as a whole.

IGP Rizvi emphasized the necessity for all officers involved to adhere strictly to merit and transparency throughout the recruitment process. He underscored the importance of providing equal opportunities to all candidates while upholding high standards of administration at each test center. Officers were instructed to oversee every stage of the process personally, ensuring the convenience, guidance, and security of candidates, and to conduct all recruitment procedures in an organized and fair manner.

Further directives from IGP Rizvi included a zero-tolerance policy towards negligence, favoritism, or irregularity. He called on all officers to execute their responsibilities with integrity, impartiality, and professionalism, ensuring the recruitment of the most qualified and deserving candidates for the Islamabad Police.
