IGP Islamabad Reviews Policing Strategy, Focuses on Reforms

ISLAMABAD: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, recently chaired a meeting at the Central Police Office to assess the progress on key tasks and outline a strategic approach for future policing efforts. The meeting addressed several aspects of police operations, including investigation reforms, training enhancements, and welfare projects for personnel.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the gathering included senior officials such as the DIG Headquarters and AIG Logistics. The IGP conducted an in-depth evaluation of the current status of various tasks and deliberated on strategies to improve the policing system. Key discussions centered around the reform of investigation processes, the enhancement of professional skills to meet modern standards, and the strengthening of the training framework at the Capital Police College.

The meeting also reviewed welfare initiatives designed to uplift police officers’ morale and performance.
