ISLAMABAD: The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, convened a key meeting at the Central Police Office to evaluate the performance and security measures of the Islamabad Police. The meeting focused on improving public service delivery, ensuring transparency in recruitment, and strengthening security protocols.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the meeting was attended by senior officials including DG Safe City/DIG Traffic Muhammad Haroon Joya, DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq, DIG Headquarters Muhammad Ateeque Tahir, and DIG Security Rana Umar Farooq. During the session, discussions centered on enhancing police performance, promoting modern policing, and safeguarding the lives and property of citizens.

IGP Rizvi assigned specific tasks to senior officers with set timelines, directing them to achieve their targets promptly. He highlighted the importance of regular monitoring of initiatives and improving departmental performance to be more effective and citizen-friendly. Rizvi emphasized the necessity of using modern technology in policing and maintaining professionalism, accountability, and transparency in official duties.
