IGP Islamabad Reviews Police Efficiency and Citizen Safety Measures


Islamabad: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, led a pivotal meeting to evaluate the performance and safety protocols of the Islamabad Police. The meeting, attended by key officials including DG Safe City/DIG Traffic Muhammad Haroon Joya and DIG Security Rana Umar Farooq, focused on assessing the force’s capabilities, crime prevention strategies, and the advancement of the Safe City projects.



According to Islamabad Capital Police, the session included detailed briefings on departmental performance and strategies to enhance public service standards and the protection of citizens. IGP Rizvi reiterated the commitment to delivering quality and efficient police services, emphasizing the need for coordinated strategies to address public complaints and improve crime control and traffic management.



Further, IGP Rizvi highlighted the importance of utilizing modern technology and Safe City resources to enhance the efficiency, transparency, and citizen-friendliness of policing efforts. The IGP also visited the Sports Complex Islamabad to oversee security measures for the Federal Investigation Agency’s recruitment process, ensuring a secure and orderly environment for participants. Officers were instructed to maintain smooth administrative operations and traffic flow to facilitate a transparent recruitment process.
