Islamabad: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi held a comprehensive review meeting on the ongoing and proposed construction and development projects of the Islamabad Police. According to Islamabad Capital Police, the meeting included AIG General Syed Inayat Ali Shah and the AD Development & Planning, with discussions centered on project progress, construction standards, fund utilization, and adherence to timelines.
In the meeting, the IGP emphasized the importance of completing development projects within the designated time frame while maintaining high standards and transparency. He reiterated his commitment to modernizing the Islamabad Police infrastructure to enhance facilities for officers and the public.
Additionally, IGP Rizvi met with SSP CTD Saud Khan to assess the security situation in the capital, evaluate counterterrorism strategies, and review security at sensitive locations. He urged SSP CTD to intensify operations against criminal activities and ensure the safety of citizens’ lives and property using all available resources.
The IGP also visited the H-11 Police Facilitation Center to engage with citizens and review the services provided. He directed officers to enhance service quality for citizens, ensuring transparency and efficiency, and highlighted the role of these centers in promoting a public-friendly police approach.
Lastly, during a visit to the Central Police Office canteen, IGP Rizvi inspected the quality of facilities and cleanliness, directing improvements for both citizens and police personnel.
