ISLAMABAD: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, conducted late-night inspections of police help desks at various commercial centers, focusing on service provision, security, and traffic management.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, IGP Rizvi assessed the facilities available to citizens and issued directives to officers to ensure diligent service and maintain smooth traffic flow. He highlighted the importance of effective parking arrangements and reiterated the police’s commitment to safeguarding citizens’ lives and property while providing necessary facilities.

IGP Rizvi also participated in a Khatm-e-Quran gathering at Police Lines Headquarters with DIG Headquarters Malik Jameel Zafar, offering prayers for national safety and honoring police martyrs. Following this, he reviewed security during Taraweeh prayers at mosques and engaged with on-duty police personnel to emphasize dedication.

Additionally, IGP Rizvi hosted an open court session, addressing public and police grievances with immediate resolutions, affirming his commitment to citizen-focused policing. He stressed the urgency of resolving issues on merit, instructing officers to submit timely reports on citizen complaints.
