Islamabad: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi issued a special message on the occasion of Labour Day, highlighting the crucial role of workers in national development and affirming the commitment of Islamabad Police to uphold their rights.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, IGP Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi emphasized that workers are the backbone of the country’s development. He praised those who work with dedication, honesty, and commitment, describing them as valuable assets to the nation. Rizvi reiterated that protecting the rights of the working class and ensuring their dignity, safety, and welfare is a collective responsibility.
IGP Rizvi further acknowledged the significant contributions of the labour class in strengthening the national economy and fostering the country’s development and progress. On Labour Day, he paid tribute to all workers, acknowledging that their hard work and sacrifices are foundational to societal progress. He also assured that the Islamabad Police is committed to addressing the issues of all segments of society, with a particular focus on the working class.
