IGP Islamabad Conducts Comprehensive Review of Police Performance and Legal Affairs


ISLAMABAD: Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi held meetings with key officials to assess the performance of the Islamabad Police, focusing on law enforcement, community policing, and legal proceedings.



According to Islamabad Capital Police, IGP Rizvi met separately with DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq and AIG Legal Tahir Kazim. The meetings aimed to evaluate the current state of law and order, the effectiveness of police operations, and the quality of services provided to the public.



During discussions with DIG Tariq, the focus was on crime prevention strategies, operational policing, and the protection of citizens’ lives and property. IGP Rizvi emphasized the importance of utilizing modern technology and enhancing community policing to build public trust in law enforcement.



In his meeting with AIG Kazim, IGP Rizvi reviewed ongoing investigations, legal procedures, and court cases. He stressed the need for transparent and merit-based investigations, urging that evidence-based reports be submitted promptly to ensure justice is served efficiently.



IGP Rizvi reiterated the commitment to effective policing, accountability, and the protection of citizens’ rights. He assured that Islamabad Police would continue leveraging available resources to combat crime and serve the community with integrity and professionalism.
