Islamabad: Inspector General of Police Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi remained occupied with official duties on Sunday, overseeing key meetings at the Central Police Office in Islamabad.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, IGP Rizvi conducted a comprehensive review of the Islamabad Model Prison, ongoing development projects in police stations, citizen facilitation initiatives, and the administrative affairs of the Central Police Office. During discussions with SSP Prisons Islamabad Ali Akbar, the progress on initiatives related to the Islamabad Model Prison was assessed. IGP Rizvi emphasized the need for enhancing facilities for prisoners, security arrangements, and administrative functions, urging professional handling of all matters.

Further meetings chaired by IGP Rizvi addressed police services provided to citizens, administrative matters, and reform initiatives. He instructed officers to prioritize timely and effective police services, stressing the importance of public interaction, transparency, and immediate response. Separate discussions with the AD Development and Planning, Accounts Officer, and Admin Officer focused on development work in police stations, citizen facilitation, and administrative affairs, with IGP Rizvi urging timely completion of projects and improved facilities for citizens.

IGP Rizvi reiterated his commitment to using all resources to enhance administrative affairs, transparency, and professional standards in the police force, aiming to establish a modern, citizen-friendly, and professional police service.
