Islamabad: Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi and Chief Commissioner Islamabad Sohail Ashraf surveyed key areas and roads in the federal capital amid rainfall to evaluate traffic conditions and safety measures.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the officials inspected traffic flow and road conditions at major roads and intersections affected by rain. The IGP received updates from officers on traffic management and challenges due to the weather.

IGP Rizvi instructed teams to remain alert, use resources to ensure smooth traffic, and quickly resolve obstructions caused by rain. He emphasized coordinated actions to reduce public inconvenience.

Traffic on major Islamabad roads is normal, with teams facilitating drainage in affected areas. Traffic police are monitoring conditions and responding promptly.

IGP Rizvi directed officers to assist citizens and respond effectively to emergencies during the rainfall. He highlighted the importance of citizen protection and a safe travel environment as priorities for Islamabad Police.
