LAHORE, Dr. Usman Anwar, Inspector General (IG) of Punjab, made a visit to Services Hospital today to inquire about the health of a Punjab Police employee, Mesum Raza, who sustained injuries in a recent traffic mishap.
According to a new release by the Punjab Police, during his visit, Dr. Anwar spoke with the medical staff to get updates on Raza’s condition and the treatment being administered. He expressed his hopes for Raza’s swift recovery and handed over financial assistance to the injured employee’s family. Emphasizing the cohesive nature of the police force, the IG stated that the Punjab Police operates much like a close-knit family, asserting the institution’s commitment to the well-being of every member.
Dr. Anwar also underscored the importance of ensuring the best medical care for Raza and stressed the force’s unwavering commitment to the welfare of its personnel. Accompanying the IG during this hospital visit were senior officers, including DIG IT Ahsan Younas, DIG Operations Lahore Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, and CTO Lahore Captain Retired Mustanasir Feroze.
