Lahore: Inspector General of Police Punjab Abdul Kareem convened a meeting with police personnel and their families at the Central Police Office, where he addressed and issued immediate orders to resolve their concerns.

According to Punjab Police, during the meeting, IG Punjab Abdul Kareem listened to various issues faced by police personnel and their families. In response to an application for financial assistance by the family of martyred Constable Ghulam Murtaza, he instructed the Additional IG Welfare and Finance to provide the necessary relief. Similar instructions were issued for financial support to Head Constable Arshad Ali and the widow of the late sanitary worker Sadiq Masih.

IG Punjab also addressed the request of Constable Muhammad Nawaz for promotion under the P Cadre by directing the Additional IG Punjab to consider the matter. Orders were additionally given on a range of applications concerning discipline, administration, promotion, and welfare, ensuring swift action for resolution.
