Lahore, Emphasizing the paramount importance of the welfare of the police force and adherence to merit in all service-related matters, Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has directed officers to take proactive measures for the benefit of the force. This commitment was voiced during discussions with police employees and their families at the Central Police Office, highlighting the administration’s dedication to addressing the needs and challenges faced by its personnel.



According to Punjab Police, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar personally met with employees and their families, offering a platform for them to voice their concerns directly. Following these interactions, Dr. Anwar issued immediate directives to alleviate the hardships presented, demonstrating a responsive and compassionate leadership approach.



Specific actions directed by IG Punjab included the approval of a mutual transfer request for constable Wajid Ali, expedited recruitment processes on familial claims for the relatives of deceased or injured personnel, and financial assistance for those in need.
