Sheikhupura: Inspector General of Police Punjab Abdul Kareem has awarded commendation certificates and cash rewards to seven officers from the Sheikhupura Police for their exemplary performance in maintaining law and order, crime control, and effective policing. The awards were presented at the Central Police Office, recognizing the officers as valuable assets to the Punjab Police.

According to Punjab Police, the officers honored include SP Investigation Sheikhupura Ghulam Abbas, who received a commendation letter and cash reward, along with DSP Ghulam Murtaza Dogar and DSP Tariq Ilyas Kiyani, who were also presented with commendation letters and cash awards. Inspectors Muhammad Nizam and Rizwan Elahi, as well as Sub-Inspectors Ghazanfar Aziz and Manzoor Ahmad, were similarly recognized for their outstanding contributions. The commendations are part of an ongoing effort to support officers contributing to Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s “Safe Punjab Vision.”

IG Punjab Abdul Kareem emphasized the importance of officers who ensure security and effective service delivery, noting that their encouragement will continue in the future. He urged the officers to maintain their dedication and professional competence to protect citizens’ lives and property and ensure the best possible public service. The ceremony was attended by RPO Sheikhupura Athar Ismail Amjad, DPO Sheikhupura Bilal Zafar Sheikh, and AIG Admin and Security Farooq Sultan, among other officials.
