Lahore: Inspector General of Police Punjab Abdul Kareem met with police personnel and their family members at the Central Police Office, addressing their concerns and issuing immediate orders for resolution. The meeting, aimed at providing relief to police employees, resulted in directives for prompt action on various issues.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, IG Punjab Abdul Kareem responded to an application submitted by the wife of Shaheed ASI Shoukat Ali concerning a plot, directing the DIG Welfare and Finance to take action. On a separate matter, regarding the promotion of Sub-Inspector Arshad Ali, instructions were given to the DIG Establishment-I for consideration. Furthermore, in response to Ghazi Constable Tahir Mehmood’s application about legal proceedings, the DPO Nankana Sahib was instructed to proceed with necessary actions.

Additional orders were issued by IG Punjab on various other applications concerning discipline, administration, promotion, and welfare, demonstrating a commitment to addressing the issues faced by police personnel and their families.
