Islamabad: Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó is set to arrive in Pakistan today, responding to an invitation from Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar. Accompanied by a high-level business delegation, Szijjártó aims to explore new business opportunities between Hungary and Pakistan.

The visit will include a one-on-one meeting between Szijjártó and Dar, followed by delegation-level talks. The discussions will center on enhancing collaboration in economic, trade, energy, and investment sectors, which have been identified as key areas of mutual interest for both nations.

During the visit, the two countries are expected to sign several Memorandums of Understanding. These agreements will cover cooperation in culture, archaeology, and cultural heritage. Additionally, there will be a signing of an agreement focused on the abolition of visas for holders of diplomatic passports, further easing diplomatic interactions.

This visit underscores both countries’ commitment to deepening their bilateral relationship and exploring avenues for future cooperation.
