Humak Police and Homicide Unit Arrest Suspects in Murder Case

Humak: In a significant development, the Humak and homicide unit police teams have arrested three individuals accused of murder, following a complaint lodged by a citizen claiming that the accused shot and killed her husband, Muhammad Ameen, while also injuring her.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the complaint led to an immediate registration of a First Information Report (FIR) and subsequent investigation by the Humak police team. The Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Islamabad, Muhammad Jawad Tariq, responded promptly by ordering the swift arrest of the suspects. Employing modern technical and scientific methods, the police successfully apprehended the accused: Abdul Rehman, Afzal, and Abdul Malik. The authorities have stated that the investigation is still underway.

DIG Islamabad emphasized that the police are committed to taking decisive action against crime and ensuring that perpetrators of violence and murder are held accountable. The Islamabad Police have pledged to use all resources at their disposal to safeguard citizens’ lives and property. In a call for public cooperation, the DIG urged residents to report any suspicious activities to the police through the nearest station or the emergency helpline “Pucar-15,” highlighting the importance of a collaborative approach in combating crime.
