New Delhi: A Hindutva leader has publicly called for attacks against individuals in India who support Palestine, labeling them as “anti-nationals.”
According to Kashmir Media Service, Ashok Paliwal, the leader in question, was recorded in a video that has gone viral, in which he urges members of a Hindu group to “attack and kill” those who support Palestine. This inflammatory directive coincides with demonstrations by members of Hindu right-wing groups in Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh, where participants waved Israeli flags and issued threats against Palestine supporters.
During these events, Paliwal further accused individuals displaying the Palestinian flag of supporting Hamas, a Palestinian resistance group engaged in conflict with Israel. His remarks were made as tensions escalated locally, following the display of Palestinian flags by members of the Shia Muslim community during Muharram processions.
The involvement of organizations such as Bajrang Dal, VHP, Shiv Sena, RSS, and BJP in these demonstrations highlights a significant communal divide, sparking concerns over potential violence.
