ISLAMABAD: The security arrangements within Islamabad’s High Security Zone were subject to a comprehensive review, following a crucial meeting led by SSP VVIP Protection Capt. (R) Syed Zeeshan Haider. Senior officers from the Security division participated in the meeting, focusing on enhancing security measures across key national sites.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the meeting, held at the Admin Block, Security division, assessed the security at the National Assembly, Parliament House and Lodges, Prime Minister House and Office, Aiwan-e-Sadr, Diplomatic Enclave, and various checkpoints. Officers provided updates to the chair on personnel deployment, existing security arrangements, surveillance systems, and other related measures.

Capt. (R) Haider issued directives aimed at improving security duties, the patrolling system, and monitoring of entry and exit points. He emphasized the need for foolproof security of sensitive national institutions, urging officers to maintain professionalism and alertness.

In light of the current security environment, Haider highlighted the importance of enhancing mutual coordination and response mechanisms, and improving surveillance systems to protect national interests and sensitive installations. Special instructions were also provided to utilize all available resources to bolster security efforts.
