Muzaffarabad: Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani has expressed profound sorrow and grief over the tragic crash of a Pakistan Army Aviation MI-17 helicopter near Muzaffarabad, resulting in the loss of lives. The incident has drawn attention to the sacrifices made by military personnel in the line of duty.

According to Senate of Pakistan, Chairman Senate paid tribute to the personnel who embraced martyrdom, emphasizing that the nation will always remember the sacrifices of its brave sons. He highlighted that those who lay down their lives while safeguarding the country and defending national interests are a source of pride for the nation. Gilani remarked that the services and sacrifices of the martyrs constitute a significant chapter in the country’s history and will not be forgotten.

Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani also extended condolences to the bereaved families of the martyrs. He stated that the nation stands in solidarity with the grieving families and shares in their sorrow during this challenging time. The Chairman Senate prayed for the elevation of the martyrs’ ranks and for strength and fortitude for their families to bear the loss.
