Peshawar: The Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan held an orientation session on the “HEC Anti-Plagiarism Policy” at its Regional Centre in Peshawar, targeting faculty members, researchers, and representatives from higher education institutions across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The session focused on the importance of maintaining academic integrity and adherence to anti-plagiarism standards to preserve the quality of scholarly research.

According to Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, the orientation provided an overview of the objectives, implementation framework, and institutional responsibilities outlined in the HEC Anti-Plagiarism Policy. Participants were informed about plagiarism detection mechanisms, compliance requirements, and best practices for promoting ethical research and publication. The session also addressed the roles of faculty members, researchers, supervisors, and institutions in preventing research misconduct and upholding academic integrity.
