HEC and PSEB Sign Agreement to Integrate Degree Verification with Workforce Platform

ISLAMABAD: The Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan and the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) have formalized an agreement to integrate HEC’s degree verification system with PSEB’s forthcoming national digital workforce platform. This collaboration is designed to facilitate the digital verification of academic credentials and support the linkage between academia and industry.

According to Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed in the presence of Chairman HEC Dr. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar and Chief Executive Officer PSEB Mr. Faisal Jeddy, along with senior officials from both organizations. The integration aims to enhance transparency and trust in digital workforce and talent development initiatives by enabling authenticated academic credentials for students and professionals.

The newly established platform will serve as Pakistan’s first national verified digital talent repository, featuring authenticated digital profiles of students and IT professionals. This initiative is expected to provide employers with access to a reliable talent pool, thereby strengthening talent matchmaking, recruitment, and employment opportunities both domestically and internationally.

This agreement represents a significant advancement towards creating an integrated, data-driven ecosystem that supports skills development, employability, and aligns with Pakistan’s digital transformation goals.
