Islamabad, The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has announced the commencement of the second phase of Hajj training from April 15th, aiming to equip intending pilgrims with essential knowledge and skills for the forthcoming pilgrimage. This phase will involve extensive training sessions conducted by forty dedicated Hajj trainers across 122 locations throughout Pakistan, focusing on rituals, new initiatives, and administrative procedures related to Hajj.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the training program is designed to ensure that all pilgrims are well-prepared for the spiritual journey, emphasizing the importance of discipline and uniformity in performing worship rituals. Additionally, the ministry has made it mandatory for all pilgrims to receive specific vaccinations ten days before their departure to ensure their health and safety during the pilgrimage.
Pilgrims will be provided with essential items for their journey, including a suitcase, hand carry bag, shoes bag, Ihram belt, and a green scarf adorned with the Pakistani flag, to signify their nationality during the pilgrimage. The schedule for Hajj flights will be announced after Eid-ul-Fitr, with flights set to operate from May 9th to June 9th of this year.
In a move to enhance convenience and safety for pilgrims, carrying a smartphone has been made obligatory for all intending pilgrims. This requirement aims to facilitate access to useful mobile applications that can provide assistance and guidance during their stay in Saudi Arabia.
This comprehensive training and preparation effort reflects the Pakistani government’s commitment to supporting its citizens in fulfilling their religious duties with ease and dignity.
