LAHORE: The government is committed to advancing local manufacturing and technology, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Industries, Haroon Akhtar Khan, announced during a ceremony in Lahore. The event marked the launch of a new project by a prominent Chinese company focused on local production of electronic goods. Khan stated that this collaboration is expected to foster modern technology within the nation and generate employment opportunities.
According to Radio Pakistan, Khan emphasized the capacity of Pakistani industries to produce products of international standards. He also noted that the national tariff policy aims to establish a favorable environment for investors by reducing production costs. The initiative underscores the government’s strategy to enhance industrial growth and attract foreign investment in the manufacturing sector.
