Karachi, At the twelfth convocation of Indus University held at the Governor House, Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori emphasized the significance of academic milestones and the role of graduates in shaping Pakistan’s future. In his address, he encouraged the graduates to contribute positively to the country’s honor and dignity.
According to Sindh Governor House, Governor Tesori articulated his aspirations to make a meaningful impact on people’s lives and to aid in resolving Pakistan’s economic crisis. He stressed the importance of family values, urging students to uphold their commitments to their parents and for parents to give equal status to daughters.
The Governor lauded Indus University for its dedication to quality education and its role in developing young minds. He highlighted the need for lifelong learning, advising the graduates to embrace new ideas and technologies in an ever-evolving world. Governor Tesori called on the students to become ambassadors of change, measuring success by the positive impacts they make in others’ lives.
Chancellor Khalid Amin, speaking at the ceremony, praised the public-focused approach of the current Governor of Sindh. Provincial Education Minister Ms. Rana Hussain, the Vice Chancellor, caretaker provincial ministers, government officials, parents, and media representatives were also in attendance, marking the ceremony as a significant event celebrating the achievements of the university’s graduates.
