Multan: Faisal Karim Kundi, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, met with Chairman Senate Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani at Gilani House in Multan to discuss the ongoing political and economic challenges facing the country. The meeting was also attended by Nadeem Afzal Chan.

According to Press Information Department, the discussions focused on the importance of political harmony and the continuity of the democratic process as essential under the current circumstances. Governor Kundi emphasized the need for collective efforts by all political forces to address national challenges, with a focus on resolving public issues and enhancing governance.

Chairman Senate Gilani highlighted the role of Parliament as the cornerstone for strengthening democracy, urging all institutions to operate within their constitutional roles for the national interest. He advocated for consultation and dialogue as the means to address national issues effectively.

The meeting also highlighted the importance of law and order, public welfare, and development. Both leaders concurred on the necessity of joint efforts to ensure political stability and sustainable progress in the country.
