Government Vows to Eradicate Terrorism, Praises Security Forces’ Success Against Militants


Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have expressed their commitment to eliminating terrorism from Pakistan, commending the security forces for their successful operations against four terrorists linked to Fitna-al-Khwarij in the Dera Ismail Khan and Mohmand districts.



According to Radio Pakistan, both leaders issued separate statements reaffirming their dedication to ongoing anti-terror operations under the Azm-e-Istehkam initiative. President Zardari emphasized that preventing any conspiracy against Pakistan’s peace and stability is a top priority. Prime Minister Sharif praised the security forces’ effective actions against Fitna-al-Khwarij, attributing the group’s support to Indian patronage, and highlighted the nation’s appreciation for the sacrifices of its armed forces.



Prime Minister Sharif also asserted that Pakistan will not tolerate terrorism or its facilitators, emphasizing national unity in supporting security forces against such threats.
