Islamabad: The government has introduced AI Seekho 2026, a comprehensive up-skilling initiative aimed at training one million young people in artificial intelligence. This nationwide program seeks to provide participants with access to National Incubation Centers, the Pakistan Startup Fund, and global platforms, thereby opening up new economic opportunities.
According to Radio Pakistan, Minister for Information Technology Shaza Fatima announced that artificial intelligence has become a central focus for the country, with the development of its first National AI Policy. She emphasized the government’s commitment to including non-technical individuals in the training process.
The minister further stated that as part of AI Seekho, the Ministry of IT, supported by Google, aims to upskill more than one hundred thousand developers, marking a significant step towards integrating artificial intelligence into the national economy.
