Islamabad: The government has announced a reduction in the prices of petroleum products, effective today. The price of petrol has been lowered by three rupees and nineteen paisas per litre, and the price of High Speed Diesel has been reduced by one rupee and fifty paisas per litre.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Ministry of Energy’s press release details the new pricing structure. Petrol will now cost three hundred twenty-nine rupees and eighty-two paisas per litre, while High Speed Diesel will be priced at three hundred eighty-two rupees and thirty-six paisas per litre. These adjustments come as part of the government’s efforts to manage fuel costs for consumers.
