KARACHI: The government is taking measures to create a competitive and investment-friendly petroleum sector that aligns with the nation’s long-term energy goals, as stated by Federal Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik. In his discussions with key stakeholders, Malik emphasized the need for digital innovation to enhance operational efficiency within the sector.
According to Radio Pakistan, Malik engaged in separate meetings with leaders from the Overseas Investors Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Pakistan State Oil. During these meetings, he underscored the importance of reforms across exploration, refining, and downstream markets. The minister’s efforts signal a strategic push towards modernization and responsiveness in addressing the challenges faced by the petroleum industry.
