Government Focuses on Youth Empowerment Through Education and Skills Training


Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced that the government is deploying all available resources to ensure equal opportunities for the youth in areas such as employment, entrepreneurship, education, and skills development. The Prime Minister made these remarks during a meeting with Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, in the capital.



According to Radio Pakistan, Sharif emphasized the government’s commitment to providing quality education and professional training to the youth, citing it as a top priority. He highlighted the importance of equipping young individuals with modern technology, artificial intelligence, digital skills, and entrepreneurial capabilities to meet current demands.



Sharif stated that a skilled workforce is crucial for strengthening the country’s economy, industry, and social development. He reiterated that educated and skilled youth are integral to ensuring a prosperous future for Pakistan.



During the meeting, Khan briefed Sharif on the progress of several initiatives under the Youth Programme. In response, the Prime Minister directed that a comprehensive and effective strategy be pursued to create employment opportunities for young people.
