Islamabad, March 08, 2022 (PPI-OT):Prime Minister Imran Khan says the government is creating opportunities of safe investment for overseas Pakistanis. He was chairing a review meeting on high-rise buildings projects in Islamabad today (Tuesday). The Prime Minister said high-rise buildings are needed in the federal capital because of growing population and unplanned expansion of the city. He said the federal capital will be provided with more facilities in near future.
The Prime Minister directed to ensure transparency in sale of land and also complete projects on time. He also asked for accelerating actions against land mafia encroachments and directed for increasing pace of work on Islamabad Cricket Stadium.
The meeting was briefed that planning is being carried out for three high-rise buildings in Islamabad, where a total of 14400 apartments will be constructed. The meeting was also apprised that the Capital Development Authority has made functional one window center equipped with modern facilities for citizens, particularly overseas Pakistanis.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Imran Khan has held separate meetings with different Members National Assembly. They include Fazal Muhammad Khan, Muhammad Afzal Khan Dhandla, Ghulam Muhammad Lali, Amjad Khan Niazi, Makhdoom Sami-ul-Hasan, Yaqoob Sheikh, Sajida Zulfiqar and Andleeb Abbas.
Ministers Asad Umar, Pervez Khatak, Shafqat Mehmood and Special Assistant Amir Dogar were also present during the meetings. During the meetings, matters related to development projects in respective constituencies and overall political situation was discussed.
