ISLAMABAD: The funeral prayer for Head Constable Zahid Mehmood of the Islamabad Police was held at the Police Lines Headquarters Islamabad, following his recent passing. Attendees included Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, senior police officers, and numerous other officers and officials.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, IGP Rizvi laid a floral wreath, offered fateha, and expressed condolences to the bereaved family. The deceased’s body was then transported to his native town for burial with full official honors. IGP Rizvi emphasized the importance of supporting the family of the deceased, noting that every officer and official in the police force is a valuable asset and their families will be supported in every possible way.
