First Lady Aseefa Bhutto Zardari Attends Mango Diplomacy Festival 2026


KARACHI: First Lady Aseefa Bhutto Zardari attended the Mango Diplomacy Festival 2026 as the chief guest, highlighting the significance of cultural diplomacy in fostering international relations. The event, organized by the Foreign Affairs Liaison Office (FALO), Karachi, served as a platform to celebrate Pakistan’s diverse mango varieties and promote economic and cultural ties.



According to Chief Minister Sindh, the festival has become an integral part of Karachi’s diplomatic calendar, strengthening bonds between the diplomatic community, government, and business sectors. The Chief Minister praised the efforts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and FALO in advancing economic diplomacy and acknowledged the role of the Foreign Affairs Liaison Office Karachi in enhancing engagement with the diplomatic community.



The ceremony featured remarks from Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, who emphasized Sindh’s agricultural contributions and the global reputation of its mangoes, particularly the Sindhri variety. He advocated for promoting Pakistan’s agricultural products in international markets as part of an export-driven growth strategy.



First Lady Aseefa Bhutto Zardari distributed commemorative shields to participants and guests, recognizing their contributions to the event. The festival concluded with a vote of thanks from the General Manager of Karachi Marriott Hotel, Raza Abbas, for the support of the diplomatic community and stakeholders in making the festival a success.
